I think of that side as the back because it might not be so comfortable leaning on that side.Muvhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00734374133479479218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1895516057450453227.post-73673272000231357422015-11-19T16:21:29.434+00:002015-11-19T16:21:29.434+00:00The quilting on that pillow cover is gorgeous - I ...The quilting on that pillow cover is gorgeous - I love it!!! I also love the idea of using buttons to close the pillow. It looks very smart. How much overlap did you use? (P.S. Who says that is the back? It would be reversible here!)Carole @ Fresh off the Framehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17022547397680969012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1895516057450453227.post-49808568901645005112015-11-14T16:59:16.943+00:002015-11-14T16:59:16.943+00:00Such an elegant cushion! It is the same way up in all the pictures, so it has two vertical folds, and is sewn across the top and the bottom, with an overlap (or should I say underlap?) for the buttons. It is much quicker and easier than doing seams all the way round the cushion.

Love, MuvMuvhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00734374133479479218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1895516057450453227.post-81269037127210867412015-11-14T09:36:57.574+00:002015-11-14T09:36:57.574+00:00It will never fit her now...It will never fit her now...Muvhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00734374133479479218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1895516057450453227.post-28402143381907006102015-11-13T23:09:46.412+00:002015-11-13T23:09:46.412+00:00Oh that's so pretty, and yay for turning it in...Oh that's so pretty, and yay for turning it into such a lovely present :)Carie @ Space for the Butterflieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13060566680311122115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1895516057450453227.post-60344698477676115672015-11-13T21:43:59.067+00:002015-11-13T21:43:59.067+00:00Muv, the cushion cover is gorgeous. There is something aesthetically pleasing about an off center look and the buttons give a focal point.Gwyned Trefethenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13041159153171283941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1895516057450453227.post-80393845440619917352015-11-13T18:53:40.752+00:002015-11-13T18:53:40.752+00:00I'm fascinated by this, but I'm not sure h...I'm fascinated by this, but I'm not sure how it went from "truss" to pillow cover. Did you sew seams in the top and bottom or is it folded in some way that I'm not getting? I really like the idea of using a button band.
