Free Motion Mavericks - Week 253 - Flat Batteries and Bent Needles

The flat batteries refer to me.  I seem to be functioning at about 70% maximum for the past couple of months.  Now that the sun is setting before 5pm I shall have to start fighting the urge to hibernate.  All in all, not good for my creative energies.

As for the bent needles, well the picture speaks for itself.  After solemnly reserving this afternoon for a serious sewing session, I didn't get very far.  This project is calling out for stronger needles, so the most constructive thing I have done today is to have gone online and ordered some.

Next week I am going away for a few days with my brother.  Let's hope that I come home recharged, because the new needles will certainly have arrived by then.

A Picture for Sunday - October Sunset

Nice of my husband to look at this photo and say "It could be anywhere in the world".  I can guarantee that it is not Africa, although the shape of the tree might be a bit deceptive.  It is an oak with its lower boughs lopped off to make way for tractors to skirt around it when ploughing and harvesting.

It's a no news post, I'm afraid.  Although I have recovered from the virus, I haven't quite got my energy back.  If I have a normal busy day, I need a good rest the following day.  For the past two weeks it has been one day on, one day off, which might sound like fun, but has actually been rather frustrating.

So without further ado, a day late...
