Embroidery on Wood

Lesson 99 in the Singer Instructions for Art Embroidery and Lace Work, Sixth Edition, 1931.

I don't know why I haven't got round to trying this yet.  My husband has a shed full of wood offcuts. We could collaborate on a wooden quilt.  I could do the thread work, and he could do all the necessary sanding and planing and the hinges.

    1. Totally barking, isn't it. Just think, you could do a horse's head on a stable door and fool all your friends.
