      Mary is beautiful too - she will be next Sunday's picture. The window is in a parish church in Hampshire.

  2. Oh goodness, this one, too. Just now saw it. Really, really would love to know who the artist is. This doesn't resemble Burne-Jones' work that much, but it still puts me in mind of it, and I love his stained glass.

    1. It's the pre-Raphaelite profile, occasionally seen in real life, but everywhere in Burne-Jones's paintings.

      This window is in a church down the road from my friend's house - perhaps I should ask her to go on a fact-finding mission.

    2. It would be very sad if no one at the church knows the history of those windows. I did try to find something on the Internet but had no luck.
