Yes I know I keep taking pictures from the same spot. It must be the time of year - so damp and dreary. The sunsets are very pleasant though, provided you like grey and pink.
Calm water is a most welcome sight after the tumultuous last couple of days we've had in the U.S. of A! I think it's best I turn off the television and do some sewing! Thank you for the Sunday glimpse into your world! D.
It was a bit of a disappointment to get there and find the sun hidden by cloud, but then I saw the ripples forming a circle as tiny waves lapped the end the jetty and had to get a picture.

It is fascinating to see the same spot in all its moods. This reminds me of a JMW Turner painting. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue! Interesting that you should mention Turner - I often think of how well he captured the light and atmosphere.
DeleteHaving spent most of my life near one sea or another....I can smell this one. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm not so sure Barbara. There are days when you should be glad you can't smell this one.
