One of the advantages of the short winter days is that sunrise is late enough for me to catch it. I have to be up and out of the house to get a good view east, because there are trees and a hill obscuring the view from our house. This was a week before Christmas, and one of the few days this winter that we have had a spectacular sunrise.
Beautiful. We are lucky enough to see them and the sunsets - although it means being high up and exposed to the elements! Worth it though! Mind you, when it does rise earlier I'll be fast akip too! LOL!
